Medicare Part B-Covered Services
Medicare 2022 will cover a separate visit for a cognitive assessment allowing your health care provider to more thoroughly evaluate cognitive function and help with care planning.
When older adults see their provider for a visit (including their yearly “Wellness” visit) Medicare covers a separate visit with the primary doctor or a specialist to do a full review of cognitive functioning, establish or confirm a diagnosis like dementia, including Alzheimer’s and develop a care plan.
