“Lets talk trans” Perspectives of transitioning later in life

Ellie Lowther is the Founder of trans support charity Trans Aware and also the CEO of Essential Learning Curve Ltd which provides support and education around diversity issues within Prison Estates, Schools, healthcare and the private sector. 2019 NDA finalist Ellie transitioned aged 45 and has supported many people in transition of all ages. She has some interesting perspectives that effect those transitioning later in life in a different way than those who transitioned younger. Pulling apart some of the threads of understanding can be helpful for anyone who doesnt truly understand “trans”
