Telehealth Counseling Then & Now

Telehealth (or teletherapy) is a fairly recent innovation, but We Care Management has been utilizing it for years now, and more so after the COVID-19 pandemic. Telehealth allows the facilitation of health-related services to patients via live video conferencing. Thanks to modern technology, just about everyone in the U.S. has a smartphone, tablet or computer capable of video chat. This ease of access to make video calls has revolutionized the health industry, allowing clinicians to interact with patients through a convenient phone or video call.
During this webinar participants will learn:
  1. How teletherapy differs from and is similar to in person counseling
  2. Presenting problems in teletherapy inquiries before and after COVID-19
  3. Changes in laws related to accessibility for teletherapy during COVID-19
