Activities for a Parent with Dementia

My book “Activities to Do with Your Parent Who Has Alzheimer’s Dementia” was written in response to my moms’ ten year struggle with this diagnosis.  In it I used my background as an Occupational Therapist to help me develop a framework for caregivers to look objectively at “activity” and assess if it was successful or if it needed to be adapted.  This format was meant to improve communication between multiple carers to the benefit of the individual.  It met my personal need (that of the daughter) by giving me some sense of control over this situation.
In this webinar you will learn:
– how to structure and prepare for an activity
– how to improve caregiver communication
– how to assess and when to alter an activity
– activity suggestions
